This was a treat to read, the series is amazing and this book was no different, the storyline was amazing and the characters really mattered to me as I read.
Overall, this is a sweet, funny, and well-paced romance that blends sci-fi, paranormal elements, and heartfelt connection beautifully. A very enjoyable addition to the series and a great pick if you love slow-burn alien (or finfolk) romances with plenty of charm.
Our FMC Verity is delightfully brainy, not just her being a marine biologist with a full on PhD, but having a lot of common sense and problem solving skills which I LOVE in main characters. Her skills as a scientist actually factor into the overall story arc even, which I thought was fascinating. I absolutely loved this read and I’m happy to add this to my comfort reads! 5/5 Stars
