Description
She spends her days keeping hearts beating. His hasn’t beaten in five hundred years.
ICU nurse Robyn has spent her whole career surrounded by doctors and nurses, so when she signs up to the Hot Tatties Dating Agency, she has one simple rule: match her with someone completely different from her usual crowd.
The agency doesn’t send her on a date so much as a dare: a windswept Scottish castle, a weathered stone gargoyle and one deeply unromantic instruction – climb the ladder, touch him and see whether he wakes.
He does.
Sten has been cold, still and stone for centuries, and he would happily have stayed that way – until Robyn’s touch drags him back into a world he no longer recognises.
But there’s a catch: stray too far from Robyn and Sten turns straight back to stone. Her presence keeps him alive, while a taste of her blood gives him the freedom to leave her side.
Robyn is used to medical emergencies, but nothing prepared her for a grumpy, possessive alien who insists she’s his fated mate. She’s determined to find a way for him to survive without her. She’s considerably less determined to resist the permanent bite that will complete their bond.
Stone Cold Alien is the second book in the Starlight Gargoyles series and a spicy standalone M/F alien monster romance. Perfect for readers who love grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, fated mates, gargoyles awakened by a woman’s touch, blood bonds, touch-starved heroes, possessive winged aliens, strong heroines, gothic Scottish castles, dating-agency mishaps, special alien anatomy and stone-shattering happily-ever-afters. Each book follows a different couple and can be read as a standalone.
