I only needed an ugly Christmas jumper for the office party. The one I found in the charity shop isn’t just ugly – he’s also alive.
His name is Nick. He’s warm, possessive and far too interested in what I’m wearing underneath him. His sleeves can hold my wrists, his ribbing can massage me through my clothes, and he can rearrange his stitches into shapes no ordinary jumper should have.
I planned to wear him once. Nick plans to be worn forever.
But first, I have to get through the party without anyone discovering that my jumper is alive. That would be easier if he would stop teasing me beneath my clothes and ringing his bells at the worst possible moments.
The sensible thing would be to take him off.
Unfortunately, I’m beginning to enjoy being wrapped up warm.
Wrapped Up Warm is a funny, spicy M/F sentient object romance featuring a possessive Christmas sweater, risky party teasing, magical massage and very inventive knitwear. The sort of ridiculous holiday romance that will get you in a festive mood, make you want to change your knickers and tell all your friends.
Nick remains a jumper throughout.
