June is Pride Month, a celebration of everything LGBTQIA+. As a member of the rainbow community, this is a special month for me. Many of my characters are queer, even if it’s not always shown on page (just because someone is in a heterosexual relationship doesn’t mean they can’t swing another way as well) – but some of my characters make their sexuality very obvious.
If you want to celebrate Pride with some books, here are some highlights:
Happy Pride and happy reading!
Overcome by grief, Lucy needs to find an escape.
The Scottish Highlands sound as good a place as any. Without a map or plan, Lucy sets off, never expecting to meet someone like Hannah, a woman who knows exactly how to take Lucy’s mind off things…
Emily never expected to find herself on the street and looking for a place to stay. A park bench doesn’t seem very inviting in the depths of winter.
Her luck changes when a mysterious stranger offers her shelter. It seems too good to be true, and when she meets his other two house mates, she starts to question if he’s the good Samaritan he seems to be.
Staying means things she couldn’t even dream of, but could mean a broken heart if the dream shatters. Going means facing the dangers of the winter streets. Can she make the impossible choice? And will she make the right one?
Alien scientist Bainne never meant to cause the apocalypse, but a simple mistake means planet Earth is suddenly in the grip of the Great Curdle. He’ll need the help of milkman Kenneth to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it.
As the two unlikely allies try to save the world, they realize their shared interest in milk isn’t the only thing they have in common….
A hilarious, steamy m/m romance between a nerdy alien and a hunky human milkman. 100% lactose free!
Tilly doesn’t believe in aliens. At least, she didn’t, until she gets abducted along with half the animals of her zoo. When you and your rhino are stuck in a cage on a spaceship, it’s hard not to believe. One of them, an elf-eared female, seems ready to help her find a way back to Earth, but is that really what Tilly wants?
Bavalla’s messed up big time. She wasn’t supposed to abduct a sentient being, but now that she’s face to face with a female who’s not only intelligent but also very attractive, she has to figure out what to do. Telling the Captain would result in severe punishment, but how do you hide a human who’s very intent on saving not just herself, but all her animals as well?
